Provides administrative support for the programs and services provided by the nutrition team within and for the Meals & More department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Administrative assistance with meetings such as note taking, agenda coordination, sending meeting invites.
- Assist with needed nutrition department mailings, filing, data collection and entry.
- Assists with Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) scheduling, appointment reminder calls, enrollment assistance, quality assurance calls, data collection and tracking as needed.
- Assists on various grant projects related to nutrition and food insecurity including but not limited to marketing material development, data collection, organization, tracking, and input, and project fulfillment.
- Assists with communication with grant partners as needed.
- Communicating with service coordinators and scheduling programs at neighborhood meal sites.
- Assist with editing and formatting dietary Menus once approved by Dietitians.
- Assists in program coordination, implementation, and organization of CICOA's Farmers Market Program.
- Assists Community Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) coordinator with daily tasks for planning & distribution as needed.
- Assists as needed with program coordination and implementation for CICOA's pet food delivery program, Pet Connect.
- Completes survey calls as needed to help with nutrition services program evaluation.
- Portrays the ICARE values of Integrity, courage, accountability, respect, & excellence.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
Required- high school diploma. At least 2 years' experience in clerical, data entry, billing, health and wellness or human services field.
Preferred- Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university in health sciences, human services, public health, health education and promotion, nutrition, or related field.
