Summary
The Financial Analyst II performs a variety of complex analytical tasks to support the budgeting and financial activities within the dynamic and fast-paced Health System Budget Office. Participates in the development, implementation, and / or maintenance of system budgeting and financial reporting tools. Prepares and documents processes, analyses, and report creation utilized for the overall JHM budget and consolidation to include Clinical Volumes, Revenue, Labor, and other variable and fixed healthcare operating expenses. A Financial Analyst II is empowered to own, develop, and improve the processes, requirements, and reports necessary to aid in the development of fiscal budgets. Provides guidance and timely high quality customer service to affiliate budget teams within JHM. StrataJazz budget experience is required. Workday or other ERP experience is also required. Candidates must demonstrate advanced Excel and Power BI skills.
Education : Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Master's Degree or MBA preferred.
Knowledge : Requires knowledge of budget processes as they relate to financial and budgeting procedures used in a healthcare environment. In addition, mid-level skills in financial systems navigation and management, accounting, data processing, and the like as acquired through three to four years of related experience.
Work Experience : Requires a minimum of three years of experience in finance, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Salary Range : $28.47 / hour - $47.00 / hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
