About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a 60-day locum tenens assignment at a clinic in Texas. The assignment begins on 11 / 03 / 2025, with flexible shift options including days or nights, 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts, with a 30-hour minimum per week. Weekend and call coverage is required. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with a wide range of cases including General Surgery, Orthopedics, Gynecology, Urology, Endoscopy / Gastroenterology, ENT, Cosmetic, Neuro / Spine, Pain Management, Cardiology, Vascular, and Radiology procedures. This position offers loose supervision and requires willingness to work one call or late shift per week. Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system is necessary. The assignment offers the potential for extension beyond the initial 60-day period.

Job Responsibilities and Duties :

• Provide anesthesia care for a variety of surgical and medical procedures
• Conduct pre-operative assessments and develop anesthesia plans
• Monitor patients' vital signs during procedures
• Manage post-operative pain and recovery
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative period
• Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals
• Utilize Epic electronic health records system for documentation
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
• Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives as needed
• Be available for call or late shifts and weekend coverage
