Job description

ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in South Charleston, West Virginia.

Opportunity :

RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details :

  • Work four 10-hour shifts per week including late days
  • Closed on major holidays and weekends
  • On-call requirement : 7 days per 4-week schedule (one week of on-call per four-week schedule from Monday 7 AM to following Monday 7 AM)
  • Call response time : 30 minutes
  • Friday after hours until Monday morning 0700 call requirement when not doing Monday-Monday call schedule
  • Holiday call requirement on rotational basis
  • Required certifications : ACLS and BLS
  • One year of prior Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
  • Must be able to function in the scrub role
  • Work with 2 suites / labs handling 5-10 cases per day on average
  • RN responsibilities include circulating, sedating patients, and completing documentation requirements
  • Work with common procedures including diagnostic left and right heart caths, PCI, IABP, Impella, temporary pacemaker, TCAR, EVAR, EKOS, AIF, IVC filters, Infusaports, and Permacaths
  • Use Siemens software and equipment with Epic charting system
  • Surgical attire provided (lead not provided)
  • General hospital orientation plus one week or up to 36 hours of department-specific orientation
  • No floating requirements
  • License hits must be disclosed at time of submission

    This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive cardiac catheterization laboratory with two suites providing advanced cardiovascular interventional services. The facility maintains 24 / 7 on-call coverage and handles a variety of cardiac and vascular procedures including diagnostic catheterizations, interventional procedures, and vascular surgeon procedures. The organization emphasizes quality patient care with experienced cardiology teams and modern Siemens equipment and technology.

    South Charleston offers a convenient location in the Kanawha Valley with easy access to both urban amenities and West Virginia's beautiful natural landscape. The area provides excellent outdoor recreation opportunities along the Kanawha River and nearby mountains, while maintaining proximity to Charleston's cultural attractions and dining options.
