Patent Prosecution and Litigation - Chemical / Pharmaceutical / Biotech Technical Advisor or Patent Agent

Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP seeks a Patent Agent or a Science Advisor to join the firm's Intellectual Property practice and be part of the Chemical / Pharmaceutical / Biotech team.

We are looking for team-oriented candidates to work with us and our pharmaceutical clients to pursue patent protection and assist in diligence for our clients from discovery through drug approval and beyond. This candidate is interested in expanding their skills by working with a dynamic team who collaborate and support each other. For Science Advisor candidates, this is an opportunity for a scientist who is interested in pursuing a career in patent law.

Candidates should have experience either in research or preparing / prosecuting patents for small molecule drugs or biologics, in any one of the following or related areas :

• Gene editing technologies
• Antibodies
• Peptide synthesis
• Formulation
• Drug Manufacturing
• Protein Degraders
• Small molecule drugs
• Medicinal chemistry
• Immunology

An advanced degree (PhD) or experience is ideal. The teams you will work with are associated with our Boston and Raleigh offices, however other Womble Bond Dickinson office locations and hybrid / remote work is always an option for a candidate who is willing to be available and commit to our clients.
