As a Locum Cardiology MD / DO you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality cardiac care to patients while collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals. This position will provide exposure to a variety of cases enhancing your clinical skills and knowledge in cardiology.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive cardiology care to patients
• Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in cardiology
• Participate in continuous education and training opportunities
• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
• Assist in patient education regarding heart health and prevention

Requirements

Schedule : 24-hour call shifts 6a-6a

Daily Volume : 3-4 consults 4-8 stress tests and 5-12 echos

Duties : Consult patients in ED and inpatients collaborate with hospitalists and specialists supervise stress tests (pharmacological / exercise) interpret OP and INPT echocardiology Holter event monitors

Preferred Procedures : TEE transvenous pacing tilt table interpretation

Support Staff : Cardiology manager echocardiographers and cardiology technicians

EMR : Cerner

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
