We are currently seeking a warm, organized, and reliable individual to join our team as a Receptionist.

Job Summary : As the first point of contact for our facility, the Receptionist will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for residents, families, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate individual with excellent communication skills, capable of managing a variety of administrative tasks with a friendly demeanor. The hours for this position are perfect for students!

Key Responsibilities :

Greet and assist residents, visitors, vendors and staff in a courteous and professional manner, providing resident room numbers and directions to rooms or departments.

Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and handle inquiries promptly.

Maintain accurate records of visitor logs and resident information.

Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming.

Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry, copying, scanning and faxing.

Distributes paychecks.

Assist Human Resource Department with reference checks for applicants.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in office administration is a plus.

Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role preferred, ideally in a healthcare or nursing facility setting.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Empathetic and resident-centered approach to interacting with residents and families.

Physical requirements :

Must be able to sit for extended periods of time doing data entry and paperwork.

Must be able to work extended hours, as needed for the facility.

Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, climb, lift and carry heavy objects.

Schedule :

Part-time position, 9 am to 5 pm every other weekend and 4 pm to 8 pm two days per week.
