Senior Software Systems Integration & Test Engineer

STRs Systems Development Division (SDD) and Analytics and Command & Control (AC2) focuses on developing advanced technology solutions to provide asymmetric advantages within the information domain. SDD executes the entire lifecycle of the solution from conceptualization and architecture refinement through implementation and deployment while leveraging novel technologies to deliver first-of-a-kind systems. Current efforts include programs for airborne and space sensors and advanced operations enabled by multi-function multi-modal this role you will be exposed to key operations users and technology that have strategic impact on AF operations.

As a Senior Software Systems Integration & Test Engineer you will integrate and test software implementing complex systems into customer owned software test / ops deployment environments.

What you will do :

• Participate in test planning & test events requirements reviews code reviews and architecture / software implementation reviews to improve code quality and maintainability
• Perform integration testing to ensure seamless interaction between different system components
• Conduct performance testing to ensure the system meets performance and scalability requirements
• Identify document and track defects and issues and work with the development team to resolve them
• Assist in configuration and maintenance of DevOps environments & pipelines at multiple classification levels focusing on developer productivity application performance security monitoring and alerting
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure infrastructure toolsets are configured maintained and reliable in compliance with program requirements and Government standards
• Develop and maintain test documentation including test plans test cases and test reports
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and test frameworks for Java applications
• Document pipeline architectures and user processes to modify and update pipelines
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for software testing and quality assurance
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing lifecycle

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range : $134000 - $184000

The salary range listed is based on external market data. Final offers are based on factors such as but not limited to the candidates experience education training key skills / critical skills security clearances and prevailing market and business conditions.
