Clinical Lab Technologist / Medical Technologist (Microbiology) - Hicksville, NY
Shift : Days
Responsibilities
The Clinical Microbiology Technologist is responsible for all aspects of testing including :
- Processing of clinical specimens
- Reagent preparation
- Instrumentation and equipment maintenance
- Perform complex microbiology-based procedures with a high degree of quality and in
accordance with established protocols.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in clinical laboratory science, Medical Technology, or related degree
Required License(s)
Licensed by New York State Education Department (NYSED) as a Clinical Laboratory
Technologist required
Certification
Current certification through the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) required
Experience 1+ years of laboratory experience
Experience with most or all the following technologies is preferred :
