Job Title : A&P Mechanic

Job Description

Join our repair station dedicated to serving small corporate and general aviation clients. As an A&P Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring aircraft safety and functionality through comprehensive inspections, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft systems to detect wear, defects, and other issues.
• Perform routine and non-routine maintenance tasks according to regulations and safety procedures.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in aircraft systems and components.
• Document all maintenance and repair work in accordance with FAA regulations.
• Assist with various tasks around the hangar as needed.

Work Environment

Located in Baton Rouge, LA, our facility serves as a 'one-stop-shop' for aircraft sales and service. You will work alongside 18 hangar staff and minimal office personnel, ensuring varied and dynamic tasks. The workweek runs Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 : 30 p.m., with occasional overtime based on workload. We offer paid holidays and a strong focus on employee satisfaction.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baton Rouge, LA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00 / hr.
