Overview :
RockIT Consulting is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by managing and expanding relationships with our customers. You will act as a liaison between our organization and potential and current customers, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives and delivering exceptional value to our clients.
Key Responsibilities :
Sales and Business Development :
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the Texas market.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Present and promote our IT solutions to potential and existing customers.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements that build long-term relationships with customers to ensure profitable and fruitful engagements for customer retainment and high satisfaction.
- Build relationships with major vendor partners and their sales teams to build bridges into potential customer engagements.
- Help design and execute targeted marketing events to drive lead generation activities.
Partner Relationship Management :
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers.Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors and customers, addressing their needs and concerns.Collaborate with partners to understand their business objectives and align our solutions accordingly.Provide training and support to partners to grow accounts into more options for deeper account penetration.Client Engagement and Satisfaction :
Identify new sales opportunities and expand relationships with existing clients.Understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions to improve customer satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships.Serve as a vital link between customers and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration to meet client objectives.Provide insights from customer interactions and market trends to contribute to the development and refinement of effective sales strategies.Cross-Functional Collaboration :
Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure partner and client satisfaction and success.Communicate partner and client feedback to internal stakeholders to inform product improvements and service enhancements.Performance Monitoring and Reporting :
Track and analyze partner and client performance metrics to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and performance for management review.Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development within the IT industry.Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.Strong understanding of the VAR channel and IT solutions landscape.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience working with VAR partners in the IT industry.Familiarity with cloud computing, cybersecurity, and other emerging technologies.Ability to travel as needed to meet with partners and attend industry events.
