Job descriptionBA / BS in STEM or Supply Chain or a related field preferred. 2 years experience in the construction of large electrical racks. Warehouse and inventory experience. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and inventory management systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and experience with ERP systems. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work in a team and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Job Overview
PCX is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting our production lines by interfacing with materials and planning to maintain flow.
A Day In The Life
- Assist in developing and maintaining detailed production schedules in collaboration with planning and production to meet customer requirements.
- Coordinate and monitor the flow of materials and components between departments to align with production schedules.
- Coordinate with production, planning, materials, engineering and quality to maintain flow of materials to the line(s).
- Work closely with suppliers and logistics partners to resolve any issues related to the procurement, delivery, and transportation of materials.
- Maintain inventory control and accuracy via accurate use of SAP to record material movements.
- Assist materials team in inventory audits as required.
- Promotes and demonstrates safe work habits.
- Supports a company climate of continuous improvement and cost savings.
- Champion other production projects as assigned by manager.
