As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned locations within a retail environment. Your visible presence will contribute to a secure atmosphere, while you interact with guests and staff, providing exceptional customer service and strong communication. Position Type : Part Time Pay Rate : $18.72 / Hour Job Schedule : DayTime Mon 06 : 00 PM - 11 : 30 PM Fri 06 : 00 PM - 11 : 30 PM

What You'll Do : Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities : Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including the business interior and surrounding perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity. Observe and report any suspicious behavior, security-related hazards, or incidents as per site guidelines. Assist store personnel and visitors as needed while maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence. Support loss prevention efforts by monitoring entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, helping to deter theft or unwanted behavior. Complete all required reports and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.

Minimum Requirements : At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
