About The Position

Job Title : Rad Tech General Imaging

Hours per Shift : 36

Experience : Minimum 2 years required

License : ARRT (must obtain state license)

Certifications : BLS required

Must-Have :

• Chest x-rays experience
• Long bone x-rays experience
• C-arm and surgical patient experience
• Portable experience
• Limited fluoroscopy experience

Description :

This is a 60-bed facility.

It is a Level 3 Trauma Center.

The facility requires COVID vaccination.

The department includes 2 diagnostic and 1 fluoroscopy unit.

Third shift may not perform fluoroscopy.

Ideal candidates will have strong backgrounds.

Patient types include inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, and some pediatric patients, mostly adults.

Patient ratios maintain 1 : 1.

Support on the unit includes transport from 7 AM to 9 PM, with RT support and hospitalists available 24 / 7.

The charting system is EMR with EPIC.

Med dispensing is managed via Pyxis.

PACS experience with McKesson is preferred.

Portables include Canon and GE fluoroscopy; C-arms are OEC, with diagnostic rooms featuring Dell with Canon plates.

Floating may occur throughout hospitals for portable needs, including operating room and emergency department.

Scrub color is any.
