Inova Loudoun Hospital is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Supervisor to join the Intermediate Care Unit team. Full-time Nights working 36 hours weekly 3-12 hour Night shifts 7 : 00 p.m. - 7 : 00 a.m. Sign on and Relocation Bonuses available for eligible nurses

The Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Supervisor is a front-line leader who is accountable for delivering highly reliable results related to quality and best practices to improve the clinical operations of the RN Unit Supervisor is not usually given a patient assignment and serves as a resource for the team.

• Embraces uses and understands the research behind nursing practice and quality tools.
• Supports unit based shared governance and decentralized decision-making structures and processes.
• Acts as a role model who leads by example in delivering Service Always and in making patient experience a priority on units of responsibility.
• Provides genuine acts of care appreciation recognition coaching mentoring and encouragement to all members of the healthcare team to further enculturate Inovas care delivery model and results for all of Inovas strategic priorities.

Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Supervisor Intermediate Care Job Responsibilities :

Minimum qualifications :

Experience : Minimum of one year of Registered Nurse clinical experience.

Education : BSN or Associate Degree RNs that are within one year of obtaining a BSN

Certifications : BLS required. ACLS within 90 days.

Licensure : Licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse.

Completion of a revised Charge Nurse Workshop within the first 90 days.

Preferred qualifications :

2 years of Intermediate Care RN experience strongly preferred

Previous Charge RN or RN Supervisor experience
