Job description

Freelance Associate Designer

Client Overview : Full-service private label division for department stores and specialty retailers.

Position Overview : Our client is seeking a talented Freelance Associate Designer to join the design team for a 3 month basis and support will all aspects of design and development.

Responsibilities :

  • Hands-on experience with sketching in Illustrator
  • Maintaining Tech Packs
  • Updating Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Managing fabric swatches, color approvals, trims
  • Sending reference samples to suppliers.

Qualifications :

  • Must be detail-oriented and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Illustrator
  • Design background in women's woven and cut / sew apparel categories
  • Must be able to work onsite 5 days a week
