Description

Associate Veterinarian — Bigger Space, Better Tech, Same Amazing Team!

About Us

Since 2016, Stamford Veterinary Center has been the go-to spot for exceptional pet care in the Stamford area. And now? We’re leveling up in a major way. Our shiny new, expanded facility is almost ready to open its doors—think more room to breathe, a seamless layout for patient flow, and some seriously cool toys to help you do your best work.

We’re talking digital dental X-rays, cautery for precision procedures, and in-house lab equipment that makes diagnostics lightning-fast. Pair that with a collaborative, supportive team that feels more like family, and you’ve got a place where practicing great medicine is as rewarding as it is fun.

Why You’ll Love It Here

Room to grow (literally) – Our larger footprint means no more squeezing past each other in the hallway or juggling treatment spaces.

Top-tier tools – From cutting-edge imaging to our expanded in-house lab, you’ll have what you need to practice high-quality medicine every single day.

A team that’s got your back – We’re a tight-knit crew that genuinely enjoys working together, celebrating wins (big and small), and sharing plenty of laughs in between cases.

Clients who trust us – Our patients may not always thank us (looking at you, cats), but their humans sure do—and they stick around for the compassionate, consistent care we provide.

What You’ll Be Doing

Deliver top-notch medical, surgical, and dental care—now with upgraded tech to make your work even smoother.

Collaborate with a supportive team that values input, mentorship, and growth.

Use advanced diagnostics and thoughtful client education to create treatment plans that make sense for every family.

Prioritize preventive care so our patients stay happy and healthy year-round.

Help us break in the new space and make it feel like home (dibs on picking the best coffee spot in the new break room).

What We’re Looking For

A DVM degree and an active veterinary license in good standing.

Someone excited about using modern technology to deliver exceptional care.

A team player with a sense of humor—because vet med is serious, but we don’t have to be serious all the time.

A passion for collaboration, compassion, and continuous growth.

Benefits and Perks

  • Generous Signing Bonus to ease your transition
  • Paid time off inclusive of sick, personal, vacation and CE
  • 401K with company match
  • Medical, vision and dental insurance with multiple options
  • Annual CE allowance + Paid VMA dues, DEA and state license fees
  • VIN Membership
  • AVMA Professional Liability Insurance (PLIT) provided
  • Complimentary Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability
  • Company-sponsored Employee Assistance Program (Headspace)
  • Progyny-Fertility and Family Building Support
  • LGBTQIA+ support with FOLX HEALTHCARE
  • Employee Discounts for Pet Care
  • And More!

Ready to Make the Move With Us?

If the idea of practicing high-quality medicine in a brand-new, expanded facility—with the best tech and the best team—makes your tail wag, we’d love to meet you. Let’s make Stamford’s newest vet home the place where you (and your patients) truly thrive.

We are a proud United Veterinary Care Partner hospital.
