Head of IT

Accountable for enterprise-wide IT and digital strategy, ensuring alignment of technology initiatives with overall business objectives. Drives digital transformation, innovation, and adoption of emerging technologies to enhance operational efficiency. OverseesIT programs, systems, cybersecurity, and data governance. Effectively guidesperformance of all information services programs, systems, and equipment used in the support and operation and strategic development of the company. Responsible fordefining and executing a comprehensive IT and digital strategy, managing enterprise architecture, and ensuring strong governance across all technology platforms, including assets ashore andon-boardcompany-owned or operated vessels. Collaborates with other business executives and, when needed, leads projects to support innovation initiatives, including AI adoption,data governance, andbusiness intelligence activitiesas well as support operations projects requiring IT support. Acts as the primary liaisonfor technology partnerships, vendor negotiations,Maerskcollaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set the strategic direction for the company's IT and digital initiativeswhilepreparingthe IT departmentto support business growth

• Provide strategic leadership and vision for enterprise-wide IT and digital initiatives.

• Serve astrustedadvisorto leadership, aligning technology priorities with customer needs and market trends.

• Supervise and directthe IT Department within current Maersk Line, Limitedpoliciesand procedures.

• Build and develop high-performing technology teams and vendor partnerships that scale with growth.

• Coach and mentor IT/IS professionals to create a world-class technology organization.

• Develop, deploy, and manage the technology budgetto alignbusiness and technology strategywhilecontinually analyzing costs, value, and risks.

• Establish frameworks for technology standards, cybersecurity,complianceand risk management within Maersk Line, Limited. Frameworks must adhere to regulatory requirements and industry best practice.

• Maintain an enterprise-wide security program to protect company information.

• Leadcybersecurity initiatives,including CMMC, USCG regulations andNIST,to ensureresilience against evolving threats.

• Supportingcommitment to safety and other selected company standards and certifications.

• Represent the company in technology forums, industry groups, and regulatory discussions.

• Performingotherposition-related duties as specified by management.

PositionSpecifications:

• Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology related field.

• Minimum15years’ experiencein the development,deploymentand support of IT systems for both operational and commercial purposes.

• Experiencein developing business cases for the deployment of IT systems in operational and commercial environments.

Technical Skills andCompetencies Required:

• Expertise incloudplatforms (AWS, Azure), ERP systems, and cybersecurity frameworks.

• Awell-developedset of management and leadership skills, able to work without supervision and deal with multiple tasks simultaneously and well developedorganizationaland interpersonal communication skills.

Must be a U.S. citizen capable of obtaining a security clearance from the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA). MLL is a drug-free work environment and requires employees to take random drug tests during their employment with the company.

This position requires access to vessels and safety sensitive facilities and therefore requires a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (“TWIC”).
