JOB DESCRIPTION

This key role within the Keppel Credit Fund Management team focuses on investment activities and managing the end-to-end investment process. The key areas of responsibilities include originating, structuring and executing financing transactions. The primary objective is to maximize risk-adjusted investment returns for the funds under management.

Key Responsibilities

To undertake the originating, analyzing, structuring, negotiating, recommending and when approved, closing new deals, including due diligence and legal documentation, in accordance with the investment mandate.
To monitor all key markets to source for suitable investment opportunities and recommend strategies to deliver superior long-term risk adjusted returns.
To build and maintain relationships with investment partners, service providers, brokers and other market participants in the targeted key markets.
To assist in generating market awareness of Keppel’s Credit Fund mandate.
Plan and implement strategies around asset management and investment exits. Responsible for periodic reporting, including quarterly investor reports, annual reports, and bespoke reports regarding the investments.
To provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

At least 12 years of relevant experience in origination and execution of transactions in the Asia-Pacific infrastructure financing, project financing, leverage financing or private credit space.

Proven experience in structuring, credit analysis and the preparation of credit memorandums.

Proven experience in the infrastructure sectors (e.g. renewables, power & utilities, transport, logistics, digital, social infrastructure) is highly desirable.

Familiarity with ESG or sustainability principles in investment execution is a strong plus.

The candidate should be comfortable working in a collegial, collaborative, fast-paced, high-growth environment and possess high levels of intellect, drive, and energy. Process-oriented and customer-focused both internally and externally.

Self-motivated, hands-on, entrepreneurial, resourceful, meticulous and results-driven.
