A Busy Hospital is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage. The hospital has 190 beds, six operating rooms (five surgical and one OB), and uses Cerner for its EMR system. The anesthesia team consists of 15 full-time anesthesiologists, with no CRNAs.

About the Clinician's Workday

This position offers flexible scheduling options, with standard hours from 7 : 00 a.m. to 3 : 00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, or 7 : 00 a.m. to 3 : 00 p.m. / 7 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Weekend call consists of 10-hour shifts with no overnight requirements. Coverage is primarily Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend shifts as needed. The case mix includes general anesthesia and a broad range of bread-and-butter surgical cases, with no trauma or cardiac procedures. Subspecialty cases are available only for providers interested in ICU or pain management coverage.
