Job description

Job Overview :

Search Solution Group is seeking a Sales Manager on behalf of our client, a company that provides labor market analytics and media services. This role is essential to driving revenue growth by leading a high-performing sales team, establishing effective sales strategies, and fostering strong relationships with both new and existing clients. The Sales Manager will play a key role in positioning the company as a leader in SaaS and digital media solutions, and be responsible for overseeing the entire sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute sales strategies aimed at achieving revenue goals and expanding the company's market presence.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach the sales team to maximize performance and productivity.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine messaging and optimize sales effectiveness.
  • Establish and track key performance metrics, and provide regular reports to leadership.
  • Oversee the sales process from lead generation through to deal closure, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Continuously assess and improve the team's sales tactics, ensuring alignment with company goals.

Requirements Include :

Education :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Experience :

  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or Senior Sales Representative in B2B sales, preferably in SaaS, streaming media, or digital content services.
  • Demonstrated success in managing sales teams and exceeding targets.
  • Skills :

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales automation tools (e.g., Gong).
  • Certifications :

  • Sales or leadership certifications are a plus, but not required.
  • Knowledge :

  • In-depth knowledge of B2B sales processes and the SaaS / digital media solutions landscape.
  • Key Competencies :

  • Leadership : Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Analytical Skills : Strong ability to analyze data and identify strategic growth opportunities.
  • Relationship Building : Ability to cultivate long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.

  • Self-Motivation : Driven to exceed sales targets with a passion for innovation and improvement.

  • Work Environment : Office-based in Charlotte, NC.
  • Travel Requirements : Occasional travel to industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
