We are currently looking for a Repair Coordinator to support our root cause analysis and reporting capabilities. The Repair Coordinator will play a dual role - performing hands-on repairs while also leading the initial triage of incoming products. Key responsibilities include evaluating returned products, verifying reported issues, recommending repair actions for our Repair Technicians, confirming successful resolution of issues, and documenting findings. Additional areas of responsibility include :
- Receive and log incoming customer returns and repair requests in the system.
- Inspect and evaluate returned items to determine condition and reported issues.
- Reproduce and verify customer-reported problems using appropriate diagnostic methods.
- Identify root causes and determine necessary repairs.
- Create clear, detailed repair recommendations for Repair Technicians.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and accurate completion of repairs.
- Test repaired items to verify that the reported issue has been resolved.
- Identify and document any additional issues discovered during inspection or testing.
- Maintain accurate and thorough service records for each item, including diagnostics, repairs, and outcomes.
- Complete repairs as needed.
- Communicate findings and updates to internal teams as needed.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying trends in product issues or repair needs.
Required Education, Skills and Experience
High School / GED preferredMinimum of 4 years technical training in electronics or equivalent combination of training and experiencePrevious experience with electro-mechanical assembly / repair & ESD standardsExperience with troubleshooting electronic equipment or similar technical systemsAdvanced soldering skills & Knowledge (surface mount & through hole)Excellent computer skills, including CRM system and database experienceProficient in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)Experience with structured QMS systems and ISO preferredGood documentation writing skills and communication skillsStrong organizing, prioritizing, and multi-tasking skillsAttention to qualityDemonstrated ability to maintain high levels of accuracyAbility to train others one-on-oneCapable of lifting and carrying 25 lbsOur culture places a high value on customer focus, innovation, engagement and integrity.
