Job Summary : The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up the production line, collaborating with the production line team, reading and understanding job tickets, and ensuring all jobs are processed properly. This position works works Monday-Friday; 6 : 00am-2 : 00pm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Reads, understands, and accurately follows Job Ticket Instructions, completes job ticket paperwork and obtains proper approvals.Sets up and adjust layouts to match data proofs, diagnose and troubleshoot errors and start up and shut down the production line; if changes are made ensure proper approvals are performed.Check machine for proper working order and make adjustments if machine is not functioning correctly; call Maintenance if neededVerify job duties with production assistants; provide verbal instructions to tasks that needs to be done differently, ensure understanding of expectationsEnsure the product meets customer specifications and perform quality checks as neededCommunicate efficiently and effectively with teams and completes end of shift production reports.Other duties as assignedRequirements
