Role Overview
We are hiring a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) for our client, a Behavioral Health Hospital that provides advanced psychiatric care for adolescents and adults. The CNO will lead all nursing operations, drive clinical quality, and ensure safe, patient-centered care across the facility. This role includes strategic planning, staff leadership, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
What You’ll Do
- Lead all nursing operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-centered behavioral health care.
- Drive long-term clinical and strategic goals for nursing services.
- Direct, supervise, and evaluate nursing staff performance.
- Oversee quality of care, regulatory compliance, and operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and treatment teams to support patient needs.
- Develop nursing policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Manage budgets, staffing, and resource allocation based on acuity.
- Lead hiring, development, and growth of nursing staff.
- Resolve patient concerns and support a culture of safety and service excellence.
Who You Are
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Nursing.Valid RN license.Strong leadership background in nursing within behavioral health or healthcare.Ability to oversee clinical, operational, and administrative nursing functions.Skilled in staff development, performance management, and policy creation.Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.Experience directing interdisciplinary teams.Ability to manage budgets and operational goals.About Sperton
