About The Position

• Years of experience REQ : 2 Years Experience and Community Hospital Experience Required, Previous Charge Experience Preferred.
• Skills REQ : Work Settings : MS / Tele, Telemetry Oncology, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, ER Holding, Neuro Stepdown, PCU / DOU / IMC / Stepdown. Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response : Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams. Cardiovascular : Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Pre / Post Cardiac Cath. Gastrointestinal : Feeding tube care and management. Genitourinary / Renal : Pre / Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure. IV therapy / Phlebotomy : Blood Product Administration, Central line care / management, Peripheral Line Care / Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs. MEDICATIONS : Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration, PCA. Neurological / Psychiatric : CVA. Plastics : Surgical drains. Respiratory : Chest tubes-Emerson / Pleur-evac, External CPAP / BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of ABGs, Nasal Cannula, Oxygen face masks, Non-invasive airway management, Tracheostomy Management. Professional Topics and Skills : Isolation Precautions, Wound Care / Wound Vac.
