Bon Secours Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgery Physician Assistant - CVT

Bon Secours Mercy Health  Cardiovascular and Thoracic Specialists is interviewing now for a Physician Assistant to assist in pre-operative, intra-operative care of Cardiovascular & Thoracic surgery patients.  Candidate must be proficient in endoscopic vein harvesting.  Have experience working in ICU and OR settings.  Must have excellent demonstrated patient care follow up skills.  Must have excellent communication skills with staff, patients, and family members. Requires minimum of 2 years of experience in the CT Surgery role with vein harvesting procedures.  Experienced only.

Job Duties :

• Full Time -Monday- Friday 7am to 3 : 30pm
• Call Schedule – 1 : 2
• Care for patients in the OR, ICU and Outpatient Clinic
• Special Skills Training : Must be EVH, OR and ICU trained
• Average Patients per day : Outpatient 1-5, Inpatient 5-10
• Patient Age Range : 18 years and older
• Practice Setting : Hospital based & Outpatient
• EMR : EPIC inpatient and outpatient.
• Practice Support : Supervising surgeon, PA and LPN and staff support.
