VHS is looking for a qualified Nurse Practitioner - Oncology.

• Description : LOCUM- Neuro Oncology NP or PA Update we will be keeping this job opened for a few more days to get additional candidates VENDORS PLEASE READ : -We have uncapped the rates on this search. It will remain open until August 19th at 3pm PST and then we will pause the position. This time around we will not be clearing the first 10 bids that are submitted but rather clearing based on competitive rates and quality score of the candidate. -We will be reviewing providers on August 20th and will determine which provider s will be cleared for further review. Please set the expectation with your provider and teams that name clears will be completed morning of the August 21st. Review on providers will start same day or on the 22nd. -No rate increase can be requested within a year of the provider s start date. -If there are any questions on this, please reach out to Locumsmart or Nick Ball ()We are looking for a provider who specializes in Neuro Oncology to cover every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday as specified in the schedule attached in the practice description. Right now, the preference is one provider, but we could look at two if needed. We will approve a guarantee below as follows : - Tues : 8-hour guarantee - Wed : 8-hour guarantee - Thurs : 4-hour guarantee Providers are required to take a one-hour lunch (12-1) except on Thursday's. REQUIRED : 2 years neurologic oncology experience required, or equivalent (must be relevant! Within the last couple of years) CA DEA and CA license required Activity logs within the last 2 years will be needed for privileging. This is a very low volume service line so there will not be much overage in the hours that they work if at all. UPDATE 8 / 18 : Lumbar puncture would be great, but not required. No other procedures necessary. For chemo ordering privileges they will have to have 25 cases on their activity report from the past 2 years Please note that privileging will take 60-90 days to complete. IF a provider has a clean file, we may be able to get them in closer to that 60-day timeline. Reminder, the privileging timeline will not begin until the RFA and application are turned back in. Typical turn around for RFA is 48-72 hours. Application should be submitted within 5 days.
• 1099 Pay Rate : Competitive Market Rates (W-2 Pay Packages available upon request)
