Job description

Principal Structural Engineer – Miami, FL

We’re looking for a Principal Structural Engineer to lead and grow an established Miami office for a respected engineering firm.

This isn’t a behind-the-desk leadership role—you’ll be out front with clients, projects, and your team.

What you’ll do :

  • Lead day-to-day operations and shape team culture
  • Build and manage key client relationships
  • Oversee project delivery, QA / QC, and technical design
  • Mentor and develop engineers and technical staff
  • Drive business growth across South Florida

What you’ll bring :

  • 15+ years of structural experience in Florida
  • Florida PE (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong track record in project delivery and business development
  • Expertise in steel, concrete, masonry, and wood
  • Proficiency in ETABS, RAM, RISA, and Revit
  • Deep knowledge of FBC, IBC, ASCE, AISC, and ACI
  • Confident, collaborative leadership style
