Account Manager

Fathom is one of the largest digital manufacturing platforms offering on-demand manufacturing in North America. Position Summary : You will be responsible for helping develop new and continuous revenue generating partnerships for a fast-growing manufacturing company. We are looking for candidates that have CNC industry experience, great interpersonal skills, and the ability to use a consultative approach to recommend appropriate solutions to engineers / industrial designers. The Account Manager will perform outbound calls to generate leads and bring in revenue generating business. Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing and executing strategies to create new business relationships including cold calling, market research, event planning, trade show setup, trade show booth operation, and lead generation.
  • Responsible for sales associated administrative tasks including scheduling meetings with prospective customers, contact management, quoting, generating proposals, processing orders, collecting customer purchase orders, and preparing summary report of days activity and tomorrows call list.
  • Responsible for managing and ensuring the success of FATHOM customers including ongoing account management, customer satisfaction, and account maintenance.
  • Building long-term customer relationships to cultivate accounts and maximize opportunity.
  • Drive partnerships that meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Manages direct account base.
  • Build a strategic plan to meet growth objectives and execute against the plan.
  • Continually develop improvement for sales and processes in conjunction with Sales team and managers.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering or related field.
  • Bachelors Degree 5+ years of demonstrated success in a quota-carrying position in similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge in the 3D printing industry and engineering / manufacturing applications.
  • Experience closing average deal size over $100K.
  • Salesforce CRM experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Energy, drive, self-motivation, and competitive spirit.
  • Strong technical knowledge is not a requirement, but must feel comfortable with high-tech exposure.
