As Recovery Support Specialist , you will :
Provide direct support to youth and families in homes and the community.Complete CRA / ACC training and implement the SSTRY model, including all ACC requirements.Administer SBIRT assessments and maintain accurate documentation.Maintain at least one weekly contact with each assigned youth.Collaborate with youth and families to assess readiness for change and set achievable goals.Connect youth and families to case management and community-based supports.Maintain timely, accurate records including service plans, contacts, and discharge plans.Engage youth who may be resistant to participation using motivational strategies.Participate in program meetings, trainings, and community events.Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and maintain professional boundaries.Maintain professionalism, uphold agency policies, and contribute to a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for families and staff.Perform other duties as assigned to support program success.What We’re Looking For
Bilingual in English / Spanish required.Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field preferred.2+ years of experience in behavioral health with adolescents or transitional age youth, including case management.Knowledge of youth substance use, recovery, and behavioral health challenges.Ability to work collaboratively with families, staff, and external partners.Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Ability to perform light to moderate lifting, standing, walking, bending, and other physical tasks as needed.Potential exposure to bodily fluids and other environmental hazards in a residential and community-based settingJoin Our Team
