About the Role :
The Assurance Entry Level Associate is a vital part of the Assurance Department, working with clients to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with financial information. Reporting to the Practice Area Manager and into the Practice Area Leader, this role is ideal for someone passionate about developing their accounting career in a supportive, dynamic, and growth-oriented environment.
This is an opportunity for a detail-oriented and motivated individual who enjoys working in small teams and engaging with clients. You'll play a pivotal role in supporting both firm initiatives, and client development.
Accounting Procedures
- Review financial statements and any supporting documentation.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare clear documentation for internal and client review that can be easily understood.
Client Servicing
Acquire a working knowledge of the client's business and accounting systems, identifying risks and tailoring approaches to auditing accordingly.Conduct client audits, compilations, & reviews in accordance with firm standards.Proactively interact with clients and staff to gather information and resolve problems.Qualifications :
Undergraduate or Graduate degree in accounting, finance, or another business-related field.Internship experience in the public accounting industry is preferred.Candidates must have a general understanding of Microsoft Office programs, and any working knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus.Candidates must be detail oriented and interested in pursuing a career in public accounting.
