Location : Aurora St Lukes Medical Center - 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215

Pay Range : $37.50 - $56.25

Hours Per Week : 36

Unit Overview : Our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit provides exemplary care for patients undergoing :

• Post-operative craniotomy for bleed evacuation, aneurysm clipping, and tumor resections.
• Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries.
• Management of hemorrhagic and ischemic strokes.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assess patient needs, implement individualized care plans, and evaluate effectiveness.
• Recognize changes in patient status and adjust care accordingly.
• Coordinate discharge plans and educate patients and families for optimal recovery.
• Promote a culture of safety and improve patient outcomes through quality initiatives.

Qualifications :

• Registered Nurse license and BLS certification required.
• 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, and perform physical tasks as needed.
