Senior Travel Manager
LaSalle Network is partnered with a global financial services firm, seeking a Senior Travel Manager to lead and optimize their enterprise-wide travel program. This role owns the full travel ecosystem including policy, operations, technology, vendor management, and employee experience. The ideal candidate is both a relationship-driven program leader and a highly technical thinker who can leverage AI and automation to modernize and streamline our travel operations.
Senior Travel Manager Responsibilities :
- Lead the global corporate travel program end-to-end, ensuring compliance, cost efficiency, and a consistently positive traveler experience.
- Serve as the primary administrator for SAP Concur, overseeing configuration, policy updates, workflows, integrations, and troubleshooting.
- Negotiate, manage, and evaluate relationships with travel vendors including airlines, hotels, car services, TMCs, and technology partners to ensure competitive pricing and service excellence.
- Identify opportunities to use AI, data analytics, and automation to improve program efficiency, reduce cost, and enhance traveler support.
- Maintain and update corporate travel policies, aligning them with business needs, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
- Act as the primary internal point of contact for all travel-related inquiries, escalations, and training across global employee populations.
- Analyze travel data, prepare regular reporting for leadership, and make data-driven recommendations to improve program performance.
- Partner with Legal, Finance, HR, and Security to manage travel risk, duty of care, expense compliance, and audit readiness.
Senior Travel Manager Requirements :
BA or higher level of education required.7+ years of experience managing global or enterprise-level travel programs, ideally within financial services or a similarly regulated environment.Deep expertise with SAP Concur (administration, configuration, integrations, analytics).Strong contract negotiation experience across major travel categories (air, hotel, ground, TMC).Proven ability to apply AI tools, automation workflows, and travel technology to optimize processes and reduce manual effort.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and generate insights.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; comfortable interfacing with employees at all levels.Knowledge of global travel industry trends, regulations, and duty-of-care best practices.Experience implementing AI-driven chatbots, automated workflows, or process intelligence tools.Certification in travel management (GTP, CTC) a plus.This position offers a flexible hybrid working model and offers a salary range between $120,000 175,000 in addition to an annual bonus and comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, 401k).
