Basic Function :

As a CNA, you'll be the heart and soul of our care team, providing essential support to individuals with developmental disabilities. From personal care services to participating in recreational activities, your role will be instrumental in enhancing the lives of those we serve.

Description of Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Be the advocate for human rights, intervening on behalf of individuals and reporting any concerns promptly.
• Show up with a smile and a can-do attitude, ensuring reliable attendance and flexibility to support your team.
• Keep a watchful eye on the individuals under your care, noting any changes and addressing issues as they arise.
• Dive into activities and lesson plans with enthusiasm, promoting development and rehabilitation.
• Maintain accurate records and complete tasks promptly, ensuring the well-being of those in your care.
• Foster a positive and supportive environment, promoting teamwork and communication with peers and supervisors.
• Be a champion of safety, from emergency procedures to maintaining a clean and pleasant environment.
• Provide assistance and supervision both in-house and in the community, ensuring individuals can participate to the fullest.

Pay Range : $20.50 at certain locations.

Benefits :

Milestone offers all full-time employees medical, dental, life, 401k, and other voluntary insurance on the first of the month following sixty days of employment. Part-time employees are offered dental insurance on the first of the month following sixty days of employment. Personal days are accrued every quarter based on your seniority. Vacation time begins after six months of employment.
