• Additional Information The role focuses on identity and access management services building reusable B2B REST APIs and working with databases. Preferred skills include TypeScript Java Kotlin and JavaScript with TypeScript and Java prioritized.

Software engineer (not senior) with about three years of experience to work in Glendale LA for approximately one year.

Interview Process - multi-stage interview process : leadership intro non-technical screening technical interviews (including coding assessments using approved platforms) and system design interviews.

We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our dynamic team to help develop the Studios media platforms applications and shared services. You will play a crucial role in designing developing testing and deploying software solutions for our platforms and B2B applications supporting media fulfillment as part of the Studios content supply chain.

Responsibilities

Deliver Software Solutions : Collaborate on the design development and deployment of scalable high-quality software solutions. Leveraging best practices in software engineering including coding standards architecture design and system reliability.

Platform Expertise : Demonstrate a strong proficiency in AWS platform tools and technologies. Leverage these tools effectively to build and maintain high-quality applications.

Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with a team of software engineers and product owners as well as other engineering teams security and infrastructure to deliver software solutions on time.

Agile Development : Prioritize and estimate work within an agile scrum process

Continuous Learning : Stay up to date with industry trends emerging technologies and best practices

Basic Qualifications

3 years of industry experience with a strong focus on application and shared services development

Extensive experience with AWS platform tools and technologies including Serverless Computing and API Gateway.

Strong proficiency in TypeScript Java Kotlin or JavaScript.

Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices including REST API development.

Team player with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with backend technologies including and Spring Boot.

Experience with Keycloak and Identity and Access Management.

Expertise in working with databases including PostgreSQL DynamoDB etc.

Familiarity with tools like CDK Terraform Helm Kubernetes and ArgoCD.

Certifications in AWS or related technologies.

Knowledge of common web frontend technologies such as React HTML CSS and DOM.
