As a Controller with Venturity you will be both a strong individual contributor and team leader and will be responsible for managing and performing the month-end close process for a group of our clients as well as directly supervising the work of Staff Accountants and Assistant Controllers. This is a NOT a remote position and will require you to work in our Dallas office daily.

Education / Experience

Bachelors degree in accounting or finance required

CPA designation preferred

Must have 8 years of hands-on accounting experience

Experience with multi-company business

Experience in expanding fast growing organizations

Experience with QuickBooks strongly preferred Great Plains and other accounting software a plus

Extensive full cycle accounting experience including closing the books and financial statement preparation and analysis required

Prior Controllership experience

Knowledge / Skills : Strong Excel skills

Good organizational skills with ability to set priorities to meet deadlines on schedule

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
