Position Details :

Patient Population : Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric

Setting : Silver Cross Hospital, Level II Trauma Center, 10 ORs

Responsibilities :

Provide anesthesia care within an MD / CRNA team model

Perform general surgical anesthesia, IV regional, spinal, epidural, OB cases, neurosurgical cases

Nerve blocks are performed by MDs

Pre-ops mainly done by MDs unless it s a MAC case

Required Procedures : General anesthesia, regional anesthesia, spinal and epidural anesthesia, OB cases, neurosurgical cases

EMR System : Cerner

Support Staff : 13 MDs, 20+ CRNAs

Days Per Month : Full-time with weekend coverage

On-Call / Weekends : 24-hour call, approximately 2-3 times per month (with incentives)

Submission Requirements :

Required :

Board Certified in Anesthesiology

IL License (or willing to obtain)

DEA Verbal Confirmation and CSR (or willing to obtain)

BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or willing to obtain)

COVID and Flu Vaccinations

US Trained and Boarded
