Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school district in Valley, AL is seeking experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) to provide therapy services for the current school year on a contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to support a diverse caseload of students across multiple schools in a dynamic educational setting.
Key Qualifications and Experience :
- Valid SLP certification with CCC preferred
- Experience in pediatric speech-language therapy
- Expertise in teletherapy service delivery
- Familiarity with school-based therapy practices
- SLPA certification for assistant positions
- Ability to manage an itinerant caseload of approximately 67 students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade

Valley, Alabama, servicing 2-3 schools within the districtPrimary Responsibilities :
Deliver speech and language therapy services to students with individualized education plans (IEPs)Utilize the districts IEP system to document progress and maintain complianceProvide both direct and indirect therapy hours, including paid team meetings and administrative tasksCollaborate with educational staff, families, and district leads to develop and implement effective therapy plansParticipate in teletherapy sessions as neededProvide or receive supervision according to licensure requirementsTravel between assigned schools as part of an itinerant workload modelBenefits and Perks :
