Kimley-Horn, one of Fortune Magazine's "100 Best Companies to Work For," is looking for a Financial Reporting Accountant to join the corporate Finance and Accounting team in our Raleigh, NC headquarters.

Responsibilities
- Prepare for and support the annual business planning process, including budgeting for firmwide operating expenses
- Assist with the year-end review which includes the preparation of external financial statements and various reconciliations, ensuring compliance with US GAAP
- Complete monthly operating expense projections
- Assist with the monthly financial statement consolidation process
- Prepare and analyze financial information for other teams as well as senior leadership
- Assist with the research and implementation of new accounting standards, as necessary
- Support our annual indirect cost rate audit on an as needed basis
- Assist with special projects among various teams nationwide
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldCPA certification required3+ years of relevant experience, preferably in Public AccountingStrong understanding of US GAAPAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsExcellent quantitative skills combined with an ability to interpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendationsHigh degree of professionalism and the ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization from new hires to senior executivesExceptional client service mentality and strong work ethicOutstanding communication skillsMust be an excellent team player as well as work independentlyWhy Kimley-Horn?
