Medical Financial Analyst

We are seeking a full-time detail-oriented data analysist to join our administration team. This role combines expertise in medical billing, coding, and data analysis to ensure accurate reimbursement and enhance financial performance. You will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer to produce financial reports and analyze reimbursement trends that impact revenue cycle.

Description : Claims Reimbursement Analysist : Review and interpret medical and billing data to assess reimbursement accuracy across payers. Identify underpayments and variances in expected vs. actual reimbursements.

Financial Reporting : Generate regular and ad hoc financial and performance reports, including facility collection percentages, patient account statuses, payer-specific trends and key performance indicators.

Associate's or bachelor's degree in finance preferred.

Healthcare billing experience strongly preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas), healthcare billing platforms, and data reporting tools.

Familiarity with ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT.

Analytical & written Communication skills : Strong attention to detail, problem solving skills, and the ability to effectively communicate findings.
