Job descriptionAssist with compiling data and reports for board and external stakeholder use Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting process by gathering inputs and updating planning tools and systems in coordination with school and network teams. Use Edustruments and budgeting systems to monitor and track expenditures against budget allocations and support sound financial management. Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis as needed to support Vista's academic program, operational decision-making, and overall financial sustainability. Assist with updates to Vista's long-term financial model by incorporating new data and assumptions as directed by senior team members. Participate in finance team meetings and cross-functional work sessions to share information and provide support on financial matters. Support the Director of Finance, Director of Schools and other teammates by helping prepare materials or answering questions related to financial systems and tools. Stay informed about relevant state and federal compliance and reporting requirements by conducting research and participating in training as needed. As needed, assist with special projects or temporary assignments to support the finance team's efficiency and effectiveness. Passionate commitment to Vista College Prep's mission and vision; 2-4 years of Finance experience focused on budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and reporting Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets; experience using Sage Intacct and Edstruments beneficial but not required Prior experience using generative AI to support financial planning & analysis beneficial but not required Proven track record of ability to seek, process, and implement feedback to support professional growth and systems improvement Attention to detail to ensure smooth, predictable, and effective execution of desired outcomes; Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills; Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree preferred; Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card.

Role Mission :
The Finance Analyst supports budgeting, forecasting, and day-to-day financial operations. In this role, you will work closely with the Director of Finance, Director of Schools, and other internal stakeholders to support finance-related processes in alignment with Vista's goals and compliance requirements. This role reports to the Director of Finance.
Your impact : Financial Operations
- Support financial operations, including procurement, accounts payable, payroll processes, grant compliance and reporting, and month-end close as directed.
- Assist with gathering documentation (e.g., invoices, contracts, grant agreements, reports) to support internal and external audits and ensure audit readiness.
