Description

We are seeking a Lead Extreme Family Finding Advocate to join our team.

Salary Range : $46,000 - $50,000

This role will focus on identifying, locating, and engaging extended family, kin, non-related kin, and members of the community to create safe, nurturing, and permanent networks for foster care youth. This role is responsible for carrying out thoughtful, thorough, and innovative searches of relative and non-related kinship for support and placement of all the children being served in the KS FCCM program. As a member of the KS Foster Care team, you will work with other team members and report to our Family Finding Manager.

WHAT YOU WILL DO :

• Leads a team of Family Finding Advocates and attend court hearings as needed.
• Participate in PS-TDM's to prevent movement of children from the relative / kin home.
• Conduct in-person walkthroughs and home visits as assigned.
• Be accessible by phone after hours, holidays and weekend, when assigned on-call.
• Conduct interviews with youth, caregivers, and other resources to identify potential kinship placements and support systems for the youth.
