Job Title : Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool RN Profession : Registered Nurse Specialty : Pediatric Critical Care Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Hours per Shift : 12 hours (07 : 00 - 19 : 30) Experience : Minimum 2 years of Pediatric ICU experience License : South Carolina or Multi-State / Compact State RN License Certifications : BLS, PALS Must-Have : Experience with ECMO and CRRT is preferred. Ability to float within the scope to meet facility needs. Weekends and holiday rotations are required. Description : The Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool RN will work three 12-hour shifts during the day. The RN will float to all Pediatric units as required. Patient ratios will be 1 : 2 or 1 : 3. The role entails caring for a diverse range of pediatric patients. Experience with pediatric dosage calculations and care for ventilated patients is essential. RN will be expected to assist with various critical care procedures and monitoring. Isolation precautions and infection control standards must be adhered to. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is vital for optimal patient care. Candidates should possess strong clinical judgment and the ability to adapt to different units. All requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application. Candidates should be aware that during hurricane season, they may be assigned to emergency response teams.
