Property Maintenance Manager
Schedule / Hours : Full-time 36.25 Hours per Week
This position is responsible for overseeing and participating in the upkeep and maintenance of the Divisional Headquarters Building, DHQ Officers Quarters, and the Emergency Disaster Services Warehouse by performing a variety of maintenance work. Oversees and serves as Liaison for all Risk Management needs, including insurance claims, DOT vehicle updates, and updates to the IMS system. Assist the Divisional Property Manager with securing quotes from contractors. Monitors the work of contractors and vendors. Assist the Divisional Property Manager with overseeing and monitoring of multiple property projects being done by contractors and subcontractors. Assist the Divisional Property Manager with doing property inspections and completing property inspection forms for these buildings. Set up of equipment for meetings. Assist with the loading / unloading and transporting of equipment and supplies.

Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language effectively. Ability to perform strenuous, heavy work involving the lifting and carrying of heavy objects. Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing. Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines and time constraints. Ability to drive a vehicle safely and in compliance of all laws and regulations. Duties require frequent periods of physical mobility including but not limited to standing, walking, climbing, stooping, squatting, and lifting. Physical duties may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of sitting. Extensive amount of physical effort required associated with lifting, moving, and carrying heavy objects (up to 100 lbs.) frequently. Work requires driving a vehicle and working outdoors with exposure to physical discomforts associated with changes in weather such as rain, cold, snow, heat or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.

What We Are Looking For In You
Two years course work from a vocational or technical school in heating, ventilation, air condition, plumbing, electrical, and construction trades AND Four years progressively responsible experience performing skilled maintenance and repair work for commercial buildings and grounds, with one to two years supervisory experience, OR Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Licenses and Certifications :
Valid KY Driver's License Certifications in trades related to this job position from technical or vocational schools (preferred) Forklift and Scissor / Articulating Boom Lift Operators Certificates (can obtain after employment) DOT Box Truck Certification (can obtain after employment).
