This position involves working 3 consecutive night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM. Patient ratios will be maintained at 1 : 4. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. BLS and IV certification are required, with ACLS preferred. Responsibilities include IV starts, general nursing skills, patient monitoring, lab work, medication administration, and patient education. Experience with the EPIC charting system is mandatory. We provide care for adult and geriatric patients. Daily census averages around 28 patients on this unit, which has 29 beds available. The unit serves as an acute care orthopedic trauma unit with progressive care patients. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy, among others. Candidates should be prepared to float to different units as needed. A strict compliance deadline for credentialing will be enforced.
