Job description

PT Position - Weekends ONLY

  • Salary : $23
  • Saturdays and Sundays only! 10am-7 : 30pm

The Spirit of the Position :

The Micro transit Supervisor is responsible for the safe, efficient transportation of riders and drivers within the City of San Gabriel and limited surrounding area. The service utilizes an app-based solution for ride and driver scheduling in order to optimize ride efficiency and ridership capacity. The vehicles used for this service are ADA compliant mini-vans.

Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Oversee drivers.
  • Customer complaints.
  • Welcome riders in a friendly, prompt and professional manner; recognizing new / or returning riders.
  • Safely drive guests to designated locations as displayed in app-based technology solution.
  • Safely load and unload wheelchair passengers.
  • Respond to request through the app-based platform.
  • Be on time and available to work on weekends / holidays
  • Provide local information to riders as requested.
  • Communicate riders guest requests or issues to management.
  • Work as part of a team and communicate with coworkers and management to ensure excellent quality of service. Always maintains a professional appearance per company policy.
  • Perform other duties assigned.

    • Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have clean driving record and have been licensed for at least 2 years.

    • Physical Demands :

  • Ability to work in the elements heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
  • Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk and sit for extended periods of time, up to 10 hours a day.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
  • Ability to perform functions that require repetitive motions using hands, wrists, and arms.
  • Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and technology solutions.
