The Technical Sales Engineer is a full-time role reporting to the Head of Growth or someone defined by the Head of Growth. In this role, you will be a key contributor to driving the revenue pipeline for ENGIN and managing relationships with clients.
This is an opportunity to continue to build out our technical sales organization and be part of something amazing. One of our core differentiators is the technical experience and support our clients receive, this role will include shared responsibility with the Sales and Marketing team for the performance of the companys topline revenue. The successful candidate is uniquely qualified to leverage cross-functional teams (delivery, marketing, product development and infrastructure), have a strong knowledge in complex enterprise software sales and a requirement of having worked with several regulated businesses, and understand their common buying processes and challenges. The proponent will be offered a equity incentive in the company based on target revenue performance, this position is meant for those seeking to join an early-stage company and be compensated with long term equity-based incentives.
The ideal candidate will have :
Experience with sales of asset performance management, asset investment planning, load forecasting, vegetation management, digital twin, EAM, CMMS, or data analytic platform technologies
Responsibilities :
Create and conduct product demonstrations tailored to the energy and utilities market.
Stay up-to-date on industry standards and the companys software products.
Design and present ROI models to showcase the value of solutions in asset performance and decision-making.
Collaborate with implementation teams to ensure smooth transitions from sales to deployment.
Research and analyze customer pain points in the energy and utilities sector, focusing on asset performance and decision-making challenges.
Work with customers to develop proof-of-concept (PoC) solutions and pilots that demonstrate product value.
Foster trust with technical stakeholders, such as asset / maintenance engineers and system planners
Conduct technical workshops and webinars for prospective and existing clients.
