As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service at an educational location. You will conduct regular patrols throughout the premises, remain highly visible, and respond to any security-related issues as needed. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment and communication skills.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including buildings, parking areas, and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.

Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual activity.

Support a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors by maintaining a professional presence and following all protocols specific to educational settings.

Work collaboratively with school personnel and local law enforcement when necessary, adhering to site-specific protocols.

Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.

Participate in ongoing training related to security-related procedures, conflict resolution, and emergency response.

Minimum Requirements :

Possess at least five years of security-related experience.

Possess an armed guard card or license.

Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
