Global Strategic Account Director – Cytiva
Location : Remote. Reports to the Senior Director of Global Strategic Accounts. Part of the Direct Sales team under Commercial Operations.
Overview
the Global Strategic Account Director , you will lead growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins within assigned accounts and / or regions, establishing professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts. You will accelerate innovation for life‑saving activities and drive strategic partnerships at the C‑suite level that position Cytiva and Danaher as trusted partners. What You Will Do
- Develop and lead strategy, partnerships, and teams supporting Cytiva's largest global accounts.
- Create and lead executive interactions, collaborations, and negotiations to build lasting relationships at the C‑suite level.
- Resolve complex or unusual business problems by applying advanced critical thinking—coordinating company‑wide resources to provide comprehensive solutions across Cytiva’s entire product and services portfolio.
- Negotiate with knowledge and capacity when dealing with highly complex relationships, sometimes involving multiple stakeholders simultaneously in a multi‑cultural context.
Who You Are
Natural executive presence with prior senior‑level experience in Life Science or a similar industry.A creative and visionary mindset with demonstrated leadership ability to implement overall customer strategy and drive growth.Ability to negotiate with senior leaders across the business and influence opinions within Cytiva, Danaher, and external organizations, exercising sensitivity to the audience.10+ years of experience in the life sciences, biotechnology, and biopharmaceutical industry plus market trends, with the ability to assimilate technical knowledge and translate it into business opportunities.Bachelor’s degree required; advanced scientific degree and an MBA preferred.Travel & Physical / Environment Requirements
Ability to travel up to 50% (overnight, international, and by air).Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.Benefits & Compensation
The annual salary range for this role is $150,000 – $180,000. This role is eligible for bonus / incentive pay. Additional benefits include paid time off, medical / dental / vision insurance and 401(k) for eligible employees.
