We are looking for a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team in Midland, Texas. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network systems to ensure seamless connectivity and security across various platforms. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in enterprise-level networking and demonstrate expertise in troubleshooting and optimizing network performance.
Responsibilities :
- Provide technical support for network systems, including routers, switches, firewalls, physical security, and monitoring tools.
- Design and maintain network architecture, ensuring compatibility and interdependence between systems.
- Collaborate with teams to integrate secondary systems, such as audio-visual and security networks.
- Manage and administer VoIP systems and collaboration tools to enhance communication infrastructure.
- Create, update, and audit comprehensive network documentation for operational and compliance purposes.
- Address customer concerns with a solution-oriented approach, ensuring satisfaction and timely resolution.
- Identify, propose, and implement improvements in network procedures while documenting changes.
- Work closely with IT teams and stakeholders to deliver effective and innovative networking solutions.
- At least 10 years of experience in IT or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise-level network administration, including VoIP, QoS, cellular, satellite, RF, and IoT.
- Strong background in firewall management, with experience in Check Point, Cisco, and Palo Alto solutions.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues using systematic methodologies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams, including executive leadership and external vendors.
- Experience conducting security audits and managing security solutions effectively.
- Familiarity with SD-WAN technologies and field network troubleshooting.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
